On 8 October 2025, the Presidium of the Azerbaijani Bar Association suspended his licence for six months for reasons that were not clearly stated.<\/p>\n

On 23 October 2025, the police department in Ganja arrested Gahramanov on charges of aggravated fraud causing considerable damage (Criminal Code Article 178.2.4) and hooliganism involving resistance to a public-order official (Criminal Code Article 221.2.2).<\/p>\n
On 25 October 2025, the Ganja City Court remanded Gahramanov to three months of pre-trial detention. His defence lawyers appealed the decision.
